These are just a few questions that are not only difficult for most to answer (some would say, impossible), but also very highly opinionated, as well.


But that doesn’t mean they can’t be answered.


Here at Variety Fun we like to think of ourselves as snack connoisseurs. 


We love snacks.


They’re as uncomplicated as you can get.


It’s for this reason we’ve created this list of the top 99 best snacks of all time. This list is comprised of the best of the best. Candy bars, chips, fruit snacks, gourmet and corner store favorites.

1 - Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

3 - Butterfinger

 

The Bart Simpson-endorsed treat is one classic you’re not soon to forget. It’s has a flakey texture that melts in your mouth.

 

4 - 100 Grand

Unarguably one of the best snacks of all time, Nestle’s 100 Grand is a complex bar layered everywhere with taste. From its crunchy outer coating of rice to its carmel middle.


“That’s rich!” couldn’t be a more perfect slogan.

5 - Whatchamacallit

With its “can’t put my finger on it” taste, Whatchamacallit is probably one of the most creative named candy bars of all time. It’s delicious flavor combines caramel, peanut butter and chocolate, and, over the years, has even found itself as the main attraction of homemade treats, such as pies, cheesecakes, and unique takes on the candy bar itself.

 

 

6 - Twix

Twix is another great candy bar that’s gone through several changes throughout the years. From the original caramel cookie bar to Twix White, Twix Dark and Twix Peanut Butter, its unexpected twist of smooth and crunchy flavors are sure to please all year round.


Did you know the word “Twix” is a portmanteau (a fancy word meaning a combination of two or more words) of “Twin” and “Sticks”.

 

7 - 3 Musketeers


One of the best treats to get during the Halloween season, 3 Musketeers are known for their ooey goey core of whipped nougat that never seems to end. 

 

8 - PayDay

First on the market in 1932, the peanut encrusted bar with the caramel center was a favorite of well known individuals, such as the late comedian Bob Hope.

 

9 - BabyRuth

Next is the candy bar that was named after President Grover Cleveland’s daughter (As not Babe Ruth as we’ve all thought for ages now). 


The signature flavors here are caramel and milk chocolate.

 

10 - Take 5

Take 5 is a candy bar released by The Hershey Company as early as 2004. It’s known for its layers of pretzels, milk chocolate, peanut butter, milk chocolate, caramel & peanut.

 

11 - Kit Kat

Another one of the great classics, Kit Kats is a delicious treat with alternating layers of wafer and milk chocolate. True to its slogan, “Break me a piece of that Kit Kat bar” describes how easy each piece can be broken off.

12 - Snickers

Snickers is one of those bars that manages to serve up generous portions of peanuts swimming in caramel, resting on a bed of nougat, all wrapped in chocolate.


It was made by Mars, Inc (3 Musketeers, Big Red, Milky Way, etc) and was first introduced in 1930.

 

13 - Hershey’s Gold: Caramelized Cream - Peanuts & Pretzels 

It’s hard to improve upon the original.


But Herhsey’s has proven that it’s not just a one hit wonder by continuously developing new flavors that are just as delicious as each one that came before.


In fact, Hershey’s Gold is one of the brands best candy bar; rivalling even their Cookies & Creme. 


The Pennsylvania-based brand proves that they know their secret sauce inside and out. While they haven’t made a lot of chocolate bars in the original Milk Chocolate, Cookies & Creme or Gold variety, all of these have been instant hits… and that’s saying something.

 

 

14 - Rolo

Rolos are a bite-sized treat filled with caramel.


They first came onto the scene in the 20s. Developed in the UK, the brand passed through licensing or acquisition by a handful of other brands, including The Hershey Company and Nestle.


The company also joined forces with McDonald’s in 2011 to change up the flavor profile of their soft serve McFlurry.

15 - Mars Bar

In 1932 the Mars bar was introduced as England’s answer to the Milky Way. It has similar textures, including the cream nougat that the Milky Way is known for.

16 - Almond Joy

Coconut and chocolate are two of the greatest combinations of snack flavors ever. 


Developed by Hershey’s, it combines an almost flakey inner texture with a smooth milk chocolate shell.

17 - Nestle Crunch

In 1938, in one of the craziest twists ever, the Crunch bar was made. You might be surprised to know that the delicious taste of crisped rice and chocolate was in fact a mistake!


Now that you think of it...It does sort of have the texture of a chemistry experiment gone right or wrong, depending on who you ask. 

But, let’s be honest, it’s food, and the makers created a delicious mistake that generations of people have loved ever since.

 

18 - Hershey’s Cookies N Cream

 

Proving that you can indeed improve upon the original, Hershey’s Cookies and Cream is the stuff of legends. 


It has bits and pieces of almost Oreo-like cookies spread densely throughout the candy bar’s base of milk, cocoa butter, etc etc.


Did you know that Hershey’s has several other Cookies and Creme-flavored products, including cereal, pudding, and even a milkshake?

 

19 - Mounds

Mounds is Almond Joy’s twin. Literally!

Also created by Hershey’s, the candy bar is made out of dark chocolate; instead of the milk chocolate that Almond Joy is known for.


The richer taste is just as delicious as Almond Joys!

 

20 - Lindt’s Lindor Truffles (Lindor) Hazelnut

Lindt is one of the best examples of gourmet candy on the market. Also known as Lindt & Sprüngli, the Swiss-based chocolatier is known for its ball-shaped delicacies which have a rich creamy center that’s almost cool in temperature.


Lindor has several flavors in its line, including Caramel, Sea Salt, Dark Chocolate, White Chocolate, Citrus, Caramel, etc.

 

21 - Hershey’s Milk Chocolate

 

Hershey’s Milk Chocolate is one of the longest running candy bars on the market.


Introduced in November 17, 1900, the company delivered an irresistible trade secret recipe to fans that have gobbled up the bar ever since in both its original 4.0oz size and bite-sized, just-perfect-for-Halloween 8.6g version.

 

22 - Nestle Crunch White Chocolate

While it’s not on the top of our list, Nestle’s short-lived White Chocolate (Simply called Nestle Crunch White) packed a host of flavors that you just could not resist. 


Coupled with ingredients that include white chocolate, crisped cereals (approx. 10%), cocoa butter, etc, the short-lived treat has since been discontinued but will forever live on in adult and childhood memories alike.


Did you know that Nestle also had an Alpine White flavor that has since been discontinued? (It’s not the same as Nestle’s White Chocolate).

 

23 - Ferrero Rocher

Like Lindt’s Lindor truffles, Ferrero Rocher is part of a longer tradition of confection and chocolate-making. Their gourmet chocolates date back to the 80s, and includes that signature hazelnut and wafer crunch that we’ve all come to enjoy.

 

 

24 - M&Ms

Another entry from the Mar’s catalog (Which also includes Big Red, 3 Musketeers, Livesavers, Skittles, etc), M&Ms were originally created when the founder’s son - Forrest Mars Sr, saw soldiers in the Spanish Civil War eating Smarties; a British bite-sized snack similar in look to what would become M&Ms.


The new product was a success and the rest is history.


M&Ms have a variety of flavors, including fruit and chocolate based flavors like milk chocolate, pumpkin spice, cherry, raspberry, orange chocolate, candy corn, red velvet, peanut butter, and many more.

 

25 - Hostess Twinkies

With references everywhere in popular culture (including Ghostbuters, Zombieland & Wall-E), twinkies is one vintage snack that every generation can appreciate.


Developed by Hostess Brands with a tagline that boasted a “Golden Sponge Cake with Creamy Filling”, Twinkies is a snack cake with a simple taste that you won’t soon forget.


It’s essentially the pound cake or sugar cookie of snacks.

 

26 - Doritos Cool Ranch

Doritos is known for its delicious flavors that linger on your tongue.


Developed by Frito Lay, the chip line has had a successful run of flavors that also include Nacho Cheese, Spicy Sweet Chili, Flaming Hot Nacho, Salsa Verde, among others. 

 

27 - Pringles BBQ

While both Pringles and Doritos have produced some of the most flavorful chips on the market, they’ve both created distinctive flavors that set them apart from one another.


Pringles is another flavor that ignites the taste buds every time.

 

28 - Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili

Doritos is a brand that masters its flavors with the ease of a veteran brand. 


Established in 1964, although it’s one of the earlier brands by comparison, Doritos flavors like “Spicy Sweet Chili” balance a zesty tanginess that’s hot and cool.

 

29 - Cheetos

Along with designing a hip mascot (Chester Cheetah), Cheetos also took cheese puffs to another level with its crunchy puff cornmeal snacks. 

There have several different types of  Cheetos, including Puff and Crunch; and also a few flavors like Cheddar Jalapeno, Flaming Hot Limin, and Chipotle Ranch.

 

30 - Flipz

Salty and sweet, the way it should be. 


Developed very recently in 1997, Nestlé’s Flipz is a covered-pretzel type treat that is incredibly hard to put down. If you’ve ever had a bag of these you know exactly what we mean.


Since the inception of their milk chocolate flavor, Flipz has created several other flavors including Dark Chocolate, White Fudge, Chocolate Mint, Oreo, Caramel Sea Salt, and Birthday Cake.

 

31 - UTZ Cheese Balls

UTZ vs Cheetos is a snack rivalry for the ages. Whichever side you’re on, Utz Cheese Balls are a delicious puff snack that’s hard to let go of.

 

32 - Werther’s Original

Werther’s Original are the delicious caramel treats from almost everyone’s childhood. Whether you prefer the hard or soft candy version, their decadent creamy taste will keep you coming back for more.

 

 

33 - Dove Chocolate Bar

What we like about Dove is their willingness to reinvent themselves. Last November, the Mars Wrigley subsidiary introduced new flavors inspired by old ones.


These new flavors included Bourbon Vanilla Dark Chocolate, Salted Caramel Blonde Chocolate, Raspberry Rosé, Dark Chocolate, Almond Brittle Milk Chocolate, and simple Dark Chocolate.


These new flavors, coupled with their established line of flavors, prove why they’re the best - even if their name isn’t as well known as Crunch or 3 Musketeers.

 

34 - Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pies

Founded during the Great Depression, Mckee Foods churned out several beloved favorites over its 91 year history, including Little Debbie and Sunbelt Bakery.

The brand has become lesser known, but still a much adored snack company that many generations have indulged in. 


If you had access to Little Debbie’s Oatmeal Creme Pies, Comic Brownies or Nutty Bars, Zebra Cakes, or Swiss Cake Rolls   when you were young, count yourself among the lucky ones.

 

35 - Toblerone

Yet another Swiss-based confection, Toblerone’s candies, which come in both chocolate and white chocolate varieties are a rich, gourmet upgrade to anything else you’re used to.

 

36 - Whoppers

Next is everyone’s go-to movie snack: Whoppers


Developed by the Hershey company, the chocolate outer covering soon turns to that malted milk flavor and makes this snack one you’ll want to pop multiple times.

 

37 - Raisinets

The best part about Raisinets is they have an unpredictable flavor that you’re not expecting. From its chocolate coating to its tangy, gooey, fruit center, Nestle’s Raisinets is one of the earliest versions of what was once a popular concession stand movie snack.

 

38 - M&M Peanut

M&M’s Peanut is another great flavor by the Hershey company. Stuffed with the delicious chocolate-coated peanut, M&M Peanut was actually the 2nd type of M&M produced; after the original milk chocolate version was introduced.

 

39 - Fritos Original

Your brain says put them down but your taste buds have something else in mind.


Fritos are one of the best examples of salty snacks done right. 

The original corn chip snack is an addictive treat.

 

40 - Twizzlers

As early as 1845, Lancaster, PA-based confectionary Young & Smylie (Y&S) developed Twizzlers; Making it one of the earliest candy companies in the US!


Licorice was the flavor of choice for the first company; However, the company later added Raspberry, Grape, Watermelon, Orange, Chocolate, Strawberry, as well as a host of other flavors.


Limited edition flavors have included cherry cola and “rainbow”.

 

 

41 - Hershey’s Kisses

Popular all throughout the year, but especially in the weeks leading up to Valentine’s Day and Christmas, Hershey’s Kisses delivers a simple bite-sized piece of candy that comes in several varieties, including Milk Chocolate, Caramel-Filled, Pumpkin Spice, Mint Truffle, Birthday Cake, Candy Cane and more.

 

42 - Marshmallow Peeps

Whether or not you’re a fan, the holiday-themed treats (Focusing mainly on Christmas, Halloween and Valentine’s Day) has been on the market since the 50s and shows no signs of slowing down.


Their line of flavors has expanded to include Fruit Punch, Cotton Candy, Pancakes and Syrup, Caramel Apple, a Mystery Flavor and more.

 

43 - Sour Patch Kids

Whether or not you like sour candies, Sour Patch Kids are the snacks you will want to keep eating for that overly sugary and sweet texture and taste that makes your brain say, “no more!” and “yes please” at the same time.


We’re not sure what in the science is going on there, but we like it. 

 

44 - Bubbletape

If you grew up in the 90s, of the best corner store treats you could have was Bubbletape. The gum, which rolled out of its opening and snapped off like measuring tape was meant to be played with.


And play you did! 


No sensible kid simply took a piece of gum and left it for later.


No, not you! You gobbled up the whole thing then and there.


Those were the days!

 

45 - Juicyfruit

Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit is a brand of gum that was introduced in the 1890s

It’s delicate balance of fruit flavors, rumored to include pineapple, banana, and perhaps peach or jackfruit, makes it hard to have just one.


Cross-brand collaborations include a Juicy Fruit-Starburst hybrid gum that include standalone flavors like Strawberry and Watermelon.

 

46 - Fruit Gushers

Another snack from the early 90s, Fruit Gushers combined a pea-sized fruit snack with a gooey center that “gushed” upon chewing. 


Their original flavors were “Gushin’ Grape” and “Strawberry Blast”; however over the years they also developed Watermelon Blast, Passion Berry Punch, Double Dare Berry, Sour, Super Sour, Triple Berry Shock and more.

 

47 - Fruit Rollups

Like Fruit Gushers and Fruit by the Foot, Fruit Rollups is another treat that aimed to make snacking fun for a new generation of kids.

 

48 - Laffy Taffy

Sometimes the joy of snacks is experiencing a new sensation. 

Sometimes it’s an unexpected taste - like sour, and other times it’s an unexpected texture, like the toughness of chewing a Laffy Taffy.


Just like the fictional character the company is named after (The Willy Wonka Candy Company, manufactured by Nestle), Laffy Taffy’s are a treat to eat; On par with Fizzy Lifting Drinks and Wonka’s Magic Chewing Gum.

 

49 - Junior Mints

This is the first candy on our list that has both mint and chocolate. Unsurprisingly, it’s one of the best companies to combine both flavors.

 

50 - Ring Pop

Another staple of youth growing up in the 80s and 90s was the novelty-esque “lollipop on a ring”, developed by the collectibles and confectionary company Topps.


Did you know it was created by a Product Engineer at Topps who created it to help curb his daughter’s thumb-sucking habit?

 

51 - Mike And Ikes

Mike and Ike’s is a fruity concoction that original cherry, lemon, lime, orange and strawberry. However, several other flavors were made available over the years including Butter Popcorn, Cherry Cola, Berry Blast, Italian Ice, and limited edition flavors such as Strawbana, Strawberries N Cream, Oranges N Cream, etc etc.

 

52 - Push Pop

Also developed by the Topps Company, who found a healthy market for novelty snacks, the Push Pop was another lollipop that found its popularity due to the fact that you could push it up before use and down to stash it away.

 

53 - Peanut Butter M&Ms

The best thing about Peanut Butter M&Ms is how much flavor you can store within such a little bite. The peanut butter flavor is slightly a bit sweeter than normal, and lingers on the palette for a time before it fades.


These M&Ms can be enjoyed in their mini, regular and jumbo sizes. 

 

54 - Jolly Ranchers

Not a lot of truly hard candies made our list.


But this is one we can’t resist.


Jolly Ranchers is a fruity snack known for its sweet-to-sour flavor. 


Originally offered in watermelon, apple, Fire Stix and grape, they’ve dabbled in other flavors over the years, including “hot” varieties like Watermelon & Cayenne, Cherry & Habanero, Blue Raspberry & Sriracha, Green Apple & Ginger, and more.

 

55 - Life Savers

Life Savers hard & soft candies first came onto the market in 1912 (original in their hard variety).


They are much more known for their Gummi(es) variety, which comes in flavors like cherry, watermelon, green apple, strawberry, and orange.

 

56 - Lay’s Sour Cream & Onion

From your local grocery store to vending machines everywhere, Lay’s Sour Cream & Onion has that flavor that reminds one of dill or chives.


It’s one of Lays’ original potato chip flavors and one of their best; even comparing to the densely rich taste of their Barbeque, it’s one of their best.

 

 

57 - Airheads

Airheads are a sour tough-to-chew candy that dates back to the 80s.


It’s one of the most sour at their; consisting of ultra sweet and crystalline sugar that dissolves onto your tongue.

 

58 - Andes Chocolate Mints

The second candy on our list with a chocolate and mint pairing is Andes Chocolate Mints


Along with Junior Mints, Andes Chocolate Mints shows that the strong flavor, which complements “fresh-breath” candies, goes well with the milk or dark chocolate, as well.

 

59 - Tootsie Roll

Named after the candy maker’s daughter, whose nickname was "Tootsie", the Tootsie Roll first appeared in the early 20th century (1907, to be exact).


Since then the company has produced its signature chewy, log-shaped confections with a taffy-like texture.

 

60 - Starburst

Unarguably, one of the best candies ever are Starbursts.


They’re a collection of fruit-flavored taffy that have been around since the 60s. In that time they’ve graduated from basic fruit flavors, including strawberry, lemon, orange and cherry, and later tropical flavors, such as cherry kiwi, pina colada, strawberry banana and mango melon. 


They also have a line called Sweet Heat flavors that includes Fiery Watermelon, Strawberry Mango, Flamin’ Orange and Pipin’ Pineapple.

 

61 - Skittles

Of course, Starbursts and Skittles are sort of neck and neck when it comes to the best of the best of fruit candies.


It’s no surprise that both of these candies are from The Wrigley Company (Who, in addition to these candies, also are the makers of Doublemint, Spearmint, Winterfresh, Extra, Eclipse, Altoids, Life Savers, Gummi Savers, and more…).

62 - Poptarts (Brown Sugar)

While these may not be traditional store goodies, Poptarts should be counted among one of the greatest inventions ever; 2nd only to whoever first sold them individually.

63 - Haribo Gummy Bears

Another snack that is too delicious to put down are Haribo’s gummy bears (or gummy worms). 


The gelatin-based fruit snack has been in circulation since 1920 and has spawned into several lines, including Happy Cola and Gold Bears (Which includes raspberry, orange, lemon, strawberry, and pineapple).

 

64 - Swedish Fish

Swedish Fish are a chewy fish-shaped candy that first appeared in the 1950s. 


You might be surprised to know that the fish-shaped snack doesn’t just come in red, but also in yellow, green, several other flavors and colors.

 

65 - Cadbury Caramello

It’s not Easter without Cadbury.


But in addition to Easter snacks, the British confectionary has made several delectable candies, including Caramello (A milk chocolate bar oozing with a caramel center) and even a Caramel Spread that is part-Nutella, part-Peanut Butter.

 

66 - Nerds

Developed by Nestle, Nerds are a super bite-sized snack that is good as soon as you pop them in your mouth. But each one contains a lot of flavor - and quickly turns to a tart sourness in flavors that include Wild Cherry and Watermelon, Wildberry and Peach, Strawberry and Grape, and more.

 

67 - Nutter Butter

For those times you’re craving something peanut-y (Not to be confused with the taste of peanut butter), there are only a handful of snacks to choose from, and Nutter Butters are at the top of the list. 


Developed by Nabisco (Chips Ahoy!, Belvita, Oreo cookies, Teddy Grahams, Triscuits, Wheat Thins, Fig Newtons, etc), Nutter Butters are a peanut-shaped treat that is truly one of a kind.

68 - Nutty Buddy

Another choice if you’re craving something peanut-y or, even better, peanut butter-y, are Nutty Bars.


Created by McKee Foods (Little Debbie, Sunbelt Bakery, etc), Nutty Butters features a rich blend of chocolate and peanut butter in crunch layers of wafer. 

 

69 - Nilla Wafers

At least in the US, many people have childhood memories of ‘Nilla Wafers from family desserts like Banana Pudding. 


This wafer-style cooker is even more addictive than a sugar cookie.

70 - Sun Chips

Produced by Frito-Lay, Sun Chips are a delicious brand of deep-fried chips that are coated in a generous amount of flavor.

While the brand has changed a lot over the years, including rebranded packaging, their flavors have stayed consistently strong and include flavors like Original, Harvest Cheddar, French Onion, Garden Salsa, Sweet and Spicy BBQ, and more…

 

71 - Oreos

As much as oreos have developed flavor after new addictive flavors, this is one case where the original is always the best.

The perfect companion for a glass of milk, the creamy inside paired with the two chocolate cookies makes for a delicious treat every time.

74 - Townhouse Crackers Original

Another one of the best cracker brands around is Townhouse.


While Ritz packs an amazing amount of flavor into their crackers, Townhouse manages a more buttery taste that is maybe just a cut the former.

Though we don’t hear much about it these days, Ruffles is definitely in a league of their own when it comes to chips.

76 - Cheez-Its (Original or White Cheddar)

 

Both of these make an amazing snack when you’re on the go.

These cheese crackers were introduced by the Kellogg Company in the 1920s.

Hands down of the best popcorn brands is Popcorn, Indiana.


Situated in the town of Popcorn, Indiana (We’re not kidding), the brand has a line of popcorn that includes Himalayan Salt, Kettlecorn, Sea Salt, Aged White Cheddar, Chicago Fair, Drizzlecorn, and Movie Theater Popcorn.

Funyuns are the snacks that sort of remind you of Onion Rings, and with good reason, they were made to look and taste like the ring-shaped savory treat


They’ve incorporated a few flavors in addition to the Original over the years, including Wasabi, Flamin’ Hot, Chile and Limon, and Steakhouse Onion. 

 

82 - Tootsie Pop

“How many licks does it take to get to the center?”


The classic ad that shows Mr. Owl demonstrate it takes 3 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop is as much of a classic as Schoolhouse Rock! 


It’s also just as memorable.


This brand of lollipops, which originally came in chocolate, is from the makers of the Tootsie Roll.


The company would eventually change its name from The Sweets Company of America to Tootsie Roll Industries; and thus an American classic was born.

 

83 - Dots 


Also created by the Tootsie Roll Industries are Dots; chewy gum-drop sized fruit candies that were made in 1945.


Since then these bite-sized snacks have been a favorite of movie-goers everywhere.


They’ve introduced a variety of flavors, and have also debuted lines which include Yogurt and Tropical dots; in addition to the unofficially named original Dots.

84 - Rice Krispie Treats

Whether you’re a kid or adult, Rice Krispie treats is one snack you probably don’t want to share; even with your best friend.


The treat, which combines Kellogg’s Rice Krispie brand cereal with a marshmallow creme paste has been on the market since 1939.


Nowadays, you can find a variety of Rice Krispie treats on the market, including Birthday Cake, Chocolatey Chip Marshmallow, and even includes a version with Milk Chocolate mini M&M's.

 

85 - Fudge Stripes by Keebler

Created by the “2nd largest cookie and cracker manufacturer in America”, Keebler, whose brands include Cheez-It, Famous Amos, Town House, Wheatables, Sandie’s Shortbread, Chips Deluxe and Club Crackers, in addition to Fudge Cookies, has produced many lines of addictive, finger-licking treats.

 

86 - Hot Tamales

You might not hear the name “Hot Tamales” much these days, but these little cinnamon-flavored treats are what would happen if you crossed Mike and Ike with Big Red.


Introduced in the 50s, the brand has since expanded its line to include Hot Tamales (Which is a hotter version of its original flavor): Tropical Heat, Hot Tamales 3 Alarm, Hot Tamales Fire, and Hot Tamales Fire and Ice. 

 

87 - Jelly Beans

 

Once mainly associated with Easter, jelly beans have since become an all-year festivity. 


Their list of flavors now include A&W Root Beer, French Vanilla, Licorice, Mango, Sour Cherry, Plum, Pomegranate & More. In addition, specialty collaborations such as with the Harry Potter franchise has produced daring flavors like Earwax, Candy Floss, Earthworm and Rotten Egg.

You might not know these fish-shaped cheddar treats include an eye and a smile, but Pepperidge Farm’s Goldfish are a tasty snack that everyone in your family will enjoy.


They were first developed in 1958, and include flavors such as Whole Grain Cheddar, Pizza, Ranch, Pretzel, Nacho, Queso Fiesta, etc etc.

90 - Walkers Pure Butter Shortbread

 

Like Pepperidge Farm’s Chessman, Walkers Pure Butter Shortbread is a buttery cookie that’s hard to put down.


Created by the Scottish manufacturer Walkers, the company was  originally first developed with a family recipe that was perfected in 1898. 


Since then, the brand has expanded to include a line of shortbread, cookies, biscuits and crackers.

 

91 - Tootsie Fruit Chews

With a slogan that boasted, “Share the square”, Now and Later is a semi-sour confection that was introduced in 1962 by candy manufacturer Ferrara Candy Company (Now Farley's & Sathers Candy Company)


The colorful taffy has been developed into 19 flavors, including Cherry, Apple, Blue Radberry, Banana, Banana-Strawberry, Black Radberry (raspberry), Bubble Gum, and more.

 

93 - Teddy Grahams

 

Nabisco’s Teddy Grahams are cute, mini-bear-shaped graham crackers. 


Entering the market in 1988, these snacks have seen been introduced in flavors like birthday cake, cinnamon, fruit punch, honey, chocolate and oatmeal. While the oatmeal variety is no longer in production, an oatmeal cereal is currently available.

 

 

94 - Blue Diamond - Sweet Thai Chili, Habanero BBQ, Salt N’ Vinegar, and more

 

Fitting the bill as one of the healthy snacks on our list, Blue Diamond’s line of nuts brings the taste level up more than a few notches for those of us who want to eat healthy without sacrificing the taste.

Acquired in 1980’s by Frito Lay, Grandma’s Cookies took the promise of “Just like grandma used to make” and smartly mass marketed it to sweets lovers.

Their entire line of flavors include Chocolate Brownie, Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin and Peanut Butter.
