Director of Business Development

Variety Fun is looking to built out our sales team, which will be prospecting new accounts through outbound emailing and lead generation efforts.

 

As a Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for expanding our B2B user-base by reaching out to leads gathered by our Junior Business Development Associate. This is an opportunity for someone who wants to learn the fundamentals of sales, find qualified prospects, and help line up accounts with a huge opportunity for growth within the company.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Leverage outbound lead campaigns including cold calling, email, and social media to qualify potential B2B sales prospects.

  • Use Hubspot/ Salesforce and other sales tools, build prospect lists, craft outbound messaging, and sharing results with the larger sales team.

  • Initiate sales conversations with key decision makers at target companies

  • Develop a strong pipeline for all sales communications for new team members


 

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in Lead Generation or Sales

  • Experience working with Salesforce, Hubspot or other CRM

  • Experience working and succeeding in a quota and goal driven environment

  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PPT) and Google Drive

  • Easily builds rapport and establishes relationships with prospects

  • Bachelor Degree preferred
